September 4-7: Somerset-Bridlewood to Fish Creek-Lacombe closure

Beginning September 4 until mid-day September 6, the Red Line will be closed between Somerset-Bridlewood and Fish Creek-Lacombe stations.

Fall Service Changes 2021

Four times each year, we take a look at our service levels, schedules and routes, and make changes to ensure we’re providing the right amount of service at the right time, to keep our customers moving through the city. This fall we’re focusing on restoring some of the service that was reduced due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

SE Express Routes

We’re making some changes to express bus routes in the communities of McKenzie Lake, Douglasdale, Douglas Glen and Cranston.

Service to Chestermere

Beginning August 30, for the first time ever, Calgary Transit will be providing fixed service to one of our neighbouring municipalities.

Village Square Leisure Centre

On Aug 31 to Sept 1, we're opening our Village Square Leisure Centre desk for low income pass purchases. We're only accepting debit and credit card as payment. The desk will fully re-open on September 7

Pedestrian Detour: Victoria Park/Stampede Station

Construction for the Victoria Park/Stampede Station rebuild is now underway. There is a pedestrian detour in effect on site at McLeod Trail and 17 Avenue SE. The street level crossing is now closed.

Safety on Transit – reporting concerns

You deserve to feel safe when riding with us. You can report any immediate concerns to us, so that together we can help make public transit safe. If you see something out of the ordinary, you can report it immediately using our text, help button/phone or phone options.

Face Coverings

Face coverings are required while using Calgary Transit.

Street elevator closure at Brentwood Station August 3 – September 12

The elevator taking you from the street to the pedestrian bridge on the west side of Brentwood Station is currently closed.
